Ready, Steady, Go!

4-new-panels

I picked up my four, new, custom, encaustic panels from Scot Eddy and they are WONDERFUL! He was able to beat the price of Amperstand clay boards and they are LIGHTER too! The durable luan wood panel cover makes these a lightweight alternative to a commercial product. Depending on how much wax paint I add, these things could get quite heavy – so anything to reduce that weight is more than welcome.

Now it is time to get started on the submissions for the Degrees exhibit in Houston. There are many definitions for the word “degrees” but I think I’m going to interpret it under the theme of “Degrees of Separation”. Think of the possibilities! Homesickness, Memories, the Past, etc…

Can’t you wait to see what I come up with?
