Encouragement

While trying to cheer me up, a friend told me this:

“…I remembered something about autism. That while it does pose it’s difficulties, it usually also means that the person who has it is brilliant, in some form or other. So brilliant actually that they just can’t connect on our “lower” level.

You and your family face challenging times ahead, no doubt, but perhaps you can take some solace in knowing you are related to a genius, and not just by marriage.”

I’ve decided to post this poem, by my 9 year old little sister Sarah. She’s another one of these geniuses we are referring to.
